ABOUT US

Item Company, 3rd Battalion, 9th Regiment, 2nd Infantry Division (Re-enacted) is a non-profit group of World War 2 historians, enthusiasts and vehicle owners.  Our primary goal is to portray the accurate lifestyle, equipment, uniforms, and tactics of the United States Army during World War II.  We are a recognized unit of the California Historical Group (C.H.G.), the largest World War II organization on the West Coast.  Our group is a regular participant in C.H.G. sponsored battle re=enactments fighting alongside fellow Allied Re=enactment Groups against Axis Re=enactment Groups.

Our impressions will often include other aspects of 1940’s military life, such as barracks impressions and vehicle displays, put forward in a manner that will educate and entertain as well as honor the memory and service of the “Greatest Generation.”  Item Company, 3rd Battalion, 9th Regiment, 2nd Infantry Division (Re-enacted) are experts at setting up displays for events that are based on life in the field in North West Europe during World War II, our displays typically include field tents, 2-man pup tents, equipment,  crates and supplies the individual soldiers gear and of course soldiers in World War 2 Uniforms.
